Eastern and Western Sicily smell flavors


Day 1
Arrival Airport Palermo
Reception with Pullman GT and transfer to Castelvetrano to visit production company Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Transfer in a dairy in Salemi area which produces the Pecorino Siciliano DOP and Vastedda Belice the only Sicilian cheese made of spun paste with sheep's milk.
Return to Palermo, check in at the hotel, free time. Free dinner at the market square of Vucciria with street food: you can taste Pane Panelle and Crocchè, Pani ca Meusa, Babbaluci, Purpu bollito, Stigghiole and all other specialties street food of Palermo. Return to the hotel and Overnight

Day 2
Transfer to Erice, tasting typican sweets with almonds in confectionery shop and visit the village. Along the way, stop in Dattilo for free tasting of the famous Sicilian cannoli with handmade ricotta cheese made.
Light lunch in a restaurant and transfer to Marsala Florio cellars for a guided visit and experiential tasting
Return to Palermo, dinner and overnight

Day 3
Full day city guided tour: typical market (Ballaro or Capo), Cappella Palatina, Cathedral, lunch in a typical restaurant.
In the afternoon San Giovanni degli Eremiti Cappuccini Catacombs or Monreale. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 4
Transfer to Trapani for trip by boat with the fishermen. Return to meet the Chef for a Master Class on the fish caught, the handmade cous cous and following lunch.
In the afternoon visit to a winery in the area of Marsala and, returning, visit the salt pans of Trapani with explanation of salt extraction process. Dinner in a restaurant in the salt pans, back to the Hotel in Palermo overnight

Day 5
Transfer to Catania and city tour with free lunch. Check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon transfer in an Etna winery, visit and dinner with wine tasting. Return to the hotel and overnight

Day 6
Check-out and transfer to Modica, the city of 100 churches and Unesco World heritage, visiting cities and "cold" preparing demonstration on the famous Modica chocolate. Transfer and visit to a farm with production of Buffalo’s mozzarella and lunch. Transfer to Ragusa and visit the delightful town. On the way, stop to an oil mill with production of extra virgin olive oils and vertical guided tasting.
Transfer to the hotel in Ragusa area, dinner and overnight

Day 7
Transfer to Ispica to visit the town and transfer to a company produces the famous caciocavallo DOP. Transfer to Marzamemi small fishing village, visit to a farm and processing of canned fish and cherry tomatoes typical of the area with light lunch with own products including tuna roe, tuna salami.
Visit to Noto with tasting of typical sweet wine Moscato di Noto with almond cookies.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight
Day 8
Transfer to Syracuse to visit the Archaeological Park and Ortigia. Lunch in a restaurant and transfer to Catania airport for return
